The festive campaigns by Tanishq have risen quite a bit of excitement amongst the audiences; at least the data says so. Tanishq has emerged as the most searched fashion brand for the month of September 2014.
According to the Search Behaviour data published by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and IMRB Digital, Tanishq with 0.34 million ‘reach’ was at the top, followed by Puma at 0.28 million and Woodland at 0.27 million. It must be mentioned here that all search related data is taken from Google and the category reach is based on brand mentions in the search query.
Of all the fashion categories which comprise of Footwear, Apparel and Jewellery, Footwear was the most searched with 0.74 million reach, followed by Apparel with 0.45 million reach and closely followed by Jewellery with 0.44 million reach.
The data was captured from a sample size of 3.22 million urban internet users. The data also indicates that most of the search query came from SEC A with a reach of 1.58 million, clearly indicating that fashion is most searched for in the metro cities.
