Taking cues from this ideation, MobiKwik has entered into a partnership with WHSmith India to allow its digital wallet users to shop offline, at all WHSmith outlets across India.

MobiKwik has been one of the biggest mobile wallet services in India. The company recently raised $25 Million from a number of investors to enhance their reach in the digital payment market. MobiKwik currently has a user base of more than 17 Million mobile wallet owners in India. On the other hand, WHSmith India has more than 50 stores in Delhi and Mumbai. Most of these stores are strategically located in the high footfall locations. This recently announced partnership will provide MobiKwik to help offline customers to avail large benefits through a cashless and card-less retail shopping experience.

They fasten the payment process as well as make it more convenient and secure.”
According to a recent report by Motilal Oswal, mobile wallet usage in 2015 grew 200% from the last year to reach 3 crore users. The partnership will help MobiKwik further deepen its user base across the country.
