| IEC Members Meet Consumer Affairs Secretary |
India Edtech Consortium members met with the Union Consumer Affairs Secretary, Mr. Rohit Kumar, on November 17, 2022, in his office, to update him about the progress of self-regulation. Mr. Kumar agreed to support the IEC to constitute a joint working group for laying down guidelines for the edtech ecosystem. This is expected to foster a holistic operating environment for both the entrepreneurs and learners to offer a fair chance of growth and learning.

| Fintech Panorama 2022 |
The Payments Council of India and the Fintech Convergence Council organized the second edition of Fintech Panorama from November, 25-27, 2022 Srinagar, Kashmir. Senior officers of the Reserve Bank of India’s Department of Payments and Settlement (DPSS) and the Fintech Department, founders and CEOs of the fintech and payments industry attended the meet. Over two days, the meet facilitated exchanges between the regulators and industry representatives on a number of issues including PPI, PA, payment infrastructure, fintech policies, lending/neo banking and digital banking.

| D2C Founders' Exclusive Meet |
Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), in partnership with Meta, hosted the second edition of D2C Founders' Exclusive Residential Meet at Alila Diwa Goa, from November 18 to 20, 2022. Over 70 founders and co-founders from more than 50 top Indian D2C brands such as Anveya Living Pvt. Ltd., Bewakoof Brands, Biryani By Kilo, boat, Campus Sutra, Clovia, Coffeeza, Earth Rhythm, Freecultr, Noise, Power Gummies, Rage Coffee, Neeman’s, Wakefit, WOW Skin Science and Pee Safe, attended the meet.
The first edition of the IAMAI D2C Awards was hosted on November 19 as part of the event. Awards were given in 14 different categories. Mr. Aman Gupta, founder, BoAt Lifestyle won the Best D2C Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

| The Fintech Convergence Council (FCC) organized a governing council meeting on November 9, 2022, at St. Regis. At the meeting Mr. Anurag Sinha, Co-Founder & CEO, FPL Technologies and Mr. Nitin Gupta, Founder & CEO, Uni were nominated as the chair and co-chair of the Lending Committee. Lending industry members announced at the meeting a horizontal expansion of the Lending Committee in order to be more focused on various sectors in the emerging digital lending industry. |
