A company that started with an idea of a bus ticketing venture has crossed borders to launch its services in Malaysia and Singapore. redBus has been launched in Malaysia and Singapore via ibiboGroup. A development that can be defined as the starting step of the group’s ‘redBus global platform’ vision, the customers can now book intercity bus tickets between Malaysia and Singapore via the redBus website and mobile app. The tickets can be booked via their Android and iPhone apps. The global platform initiative has been on the cards for a while now. So, what’s new about it? The platform supports multiple currencies, languages, time-zones and payment systems. The platform provides the customers the levy to pay in different currencies like Rupees, Singapore Dollars and Malaysian Ringgits. The newly launched service would cater for 10,000+ seats on more than 5,700 bus routes on a daily basis.
